Glider Boek:

De co auteur van het Boek Glider Pilots at Arnhem, Luuk Buist heeft speciaal voor het project Horsa Assault Glider te Oosterbeek een boekje geschreven. Dit boek, 16 pagina’s full color, behandeld de diverse fase’s van ontwerp door Airspeed tot de diverse inzetten van deze gliders in de tweede wereldoorlog waaronder ook Market Garden. Het boek bevat unieke, nooit eerder getoonde foto’s en bijvoorbeeld een beladingsschema. Het boekje is interactief en bevat QR codes waarmee direct gelinkt wordt naar bijbehorende Youtube films.

Het boek is beperkt verkrijgbaar en wordt door de kenners nu al een collectorsitem genoemd. Voor de kosten hoeft u het niet te laten. Het boek kost nu slechts €5,00 en is verkrijgbaar is het Engels en Nederlands. Met de aankoop van dit boek draagt u bij aan de stichting Behoud WO2 Erfgoed Gelderland.

The co-author of the Book Glider Pilots at Arnhem, Luuk Buist, has written a book especially for the Horsa Assault Glider project in Oosterbeek. This book, 16 pages full color, covers the various phases from design by Airspeed to the various deployments of these gliders in the second world war, including Market Garden. The book contains unique, never before seen photos and, for example, a loading schedule. The booklet is interactive and contains QR codes that are directly linked to accompanying YouTube films.

The book has limited availability and is already referred to by collectors as a collector’s item. You don’t have to leave it at that for the costs. The book now costs just € 5.00 and is available in English and Dutch. With the purchase of this book you contribute to the Foundation for the Preservation of WW2 Heritage Gelderland.
